Use of Multi-criteria Analysis for Evaluation Cableway Project Efficiency
Kotrla, Jakub ; Vaňková, Lucie (referee) ; Korytárová, Jana (advisor)
This thesis investigates the cableway project in the city of Vsetín. The theoretical part is describing the city, it’s demographic trends and also changes in the image of the city. The practical part is dealing with the abovementioned cableway project and is divided into several parts. The introduction is focused on a multi-criteria assessment of particular options of the cableway and fallowing a multi-criteria assessment of transport services in the housing development Sychrov. The multi-criteria assessment is carried out by some of variant calculations in order to specify the importance of criteria, weighting for criterion and calculation methods. This is followed by an assessment of the efficiency of transport links by the Cost Benefit Analysis – CBA method. This method is aimed to determine the most effective way of passenger traffic and to recommend an optimal option in consideration of not only incomes but also costs and contribution to beneficiaries, which are an important part of public projects.
Design of synchronous motor for cable way
Záškodný, Jiří ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (advisor)
Subject of this thesis is design of permanent magnet synchronous motor for direct drive of a cableway. The thesis consists of four parts, first part is the literature research, in next part there is a basic theory of synchronous machines with electromagnetic excitation and permanent magnet synchronous machines. Third part is the analytic design of the motor with performance 630 kW and speed 22 min-1. The last part is the comparison of analytic design and simulations in RMxprt and Maxwell 2D.
Across the landscape of Ostrava...
Kubinová, Michaela ; Matoušková, Petra (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
A human enters with his activities to the industrial landscape in the same natural way as the nature entered before, and developed them.
Urbanistic analysis of the city with a focus on public spaces - urban interventions
Kotrla, Jakub ; Rozmanová, Naděžda (referee) ; Májek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on analysis of public spaces in general and on the particular public spaces in the town of Vsetín. The thesis is based on knowledge of public spaces and their connection to the environment in which they can be found. The finding of this thesis is that the quality of the environment is influencing the quality of public spaces. These knowledges are analysed in other connections to the urban sprawl and it´s functional values afterwards. The solving of this problem is establishing the garden city as an effective concept and mean of an improvement of the environment and also public spaces and further deals with the need of development plans for maintaining sustainable values in the future. Finally the thesis discusses the public spaces in the town of Vsetín, specifically shows Svoboda square, the project of market gallery and the area before the train station. A huge attention is focused on the concept of the cableway as a possible future part of municipal public transport. The cableway is examined in the multicriterial analysis where possible options of the project are compared and the result with the biggest amount of agreement with our criteria is stated.

Possibilities of using unconventional transport
Frühauf, Daniel ; Zelený, Lubomír (advisor) ; Kurc, Antonín (referee)
This thesis deals with the use and options of personal unconventional transport in Czech Republic and in the hole World. In my thesis, I describe from history of unconventional , throught cable ways in Czech Republic until unconventional technology in the Word. Main goal is analyzing unconventional transport vehicles in the World, determine their advantages and decide, if unconventional transport is profitable or not. In other part I attend with the The Pillar-track Regional People Mover. Final part is devoted to evaluation of the project due to road, train personal transport in the country and also to evaluate my survey, how unconventional transport as perceived by viewers.
Unconventional vehicles in public transportation in Prague
Chylík, Jan ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the current situation of unconventional vehicles in public transportation in Prague. It includes historical excursion with a detailed overview and outlook for the future with proposals for improvements and expansion of these means of transport. Representatives of the category of unconventional vehicles in Prague are three cableways (to Petřín, to Mrázovka and in the zoo) and five ferries (Lahovičky - Nádraží Modřany, Kotevní -- Císařská louka -- Výtoň, Lihovar -- Veslařský ostrov, V Podbabě -- Podhoří a Sedlec -- Zámky). All five lines of ferries, as well as a funicular to Petrin, are fully integrated into the metropolitan transportation system.
